Comment from a patron at a recent program
"Kudo’s for all the 'free' programs the library sponsors. When you’re unemployed, over 50, single, financially strapped, life doesn’t offer many opportunities to keep you motivated. You have no idea how much these outings/experiences make a difference. Something to look forward to, and a purpose to get out."

My husband and I take
Submitted by Elaine Granell (not verified) on Tue, 06/12/2012 - 5:53pm.My husband and I take advantage of many of the programs you offer, (especially Tea on Tuesday). and we would like to see more programs such as Travel and things geared towards senior citizens. I have noticed that the Mt. Prospect Library has had several of these programs, such as the current offering Tues. June 19. Darnall Emerson discusses how radio affected the lives of everday Americans and transformed a nation into a listening community. It includes sound clips from famous performers. We will be registering for this one. We have also atttended some very interesting personal travelogues there. These are the things we would like to be attending at OUR library. These are just some suggestions and I know you have done some of these things in the past (as we have attended them), but would like to see more. Also some more musical events would be nice too. Thank you.
Thank you for your suggestions!
