Friends of the Library Used Book Sale: February 15-17
The Friends of the Palatine Library are hosting a used book sale February 15-17. There will be thousands of items for sale, including DVDs and music CDs, almost all of which have been donated to the Library.
The energetic and dedicated Friends group has been a library affiliate for more than 60 years. By fundraising efforts the Friends have provided furnishings, materials and equipment that otherwise would not be available for use by library visitors and staff.
Sale Hours
Friday, February 15
- 6:00 - 9:00 p.m.
- Friends members - Free admission
- Non-members - $5 admission
Saturday, February 16
- 9:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
- Free admission
Saturday, February 17
- 12:30 - 3:00 p.m.
- Free admission
- Sunday is bargain day.
- Prices are reduced.
Guidelines for Sale Days
- Strollers cannot be accommodated in the sale rooms.
- Books set aside must be purchased. No setting books aside for later consideration.
- Electrical devices are not allowed.

Due to the large number of donations received, we do not have time to check many of the books for value. Only books in good condition go into our sales.
The sale is constantly restocked until all the available items are on the sale floor.
