Candy Charms

Make a cupcake, lollipop, and chocolate charm with Mei Pak, creator of Tiny Hands Jewelry based in Minneapolis. Using polymer clay, Mei will demonstrate each step during a live, virtual class that includes a Q & A session. Take home your final product!

The first 15 participants to register for this weekly program will receive a copy of "Teens Cook: How to Cook What You Want to Eat." Weekly programs will feature special guest chefs, group activities, recipe demos, and more. A "Chef of the Week" will be chosen each week to win a prize. Attend 5 out of 7 sessions to be eligible to compete in our Iron Chef Competition in August! Cookbooks generously provided by the Friends of the Palatine Public Library.

Iron Chef Competition

Watch teams battle in our first Iron Chef Competition, the culmination of our summer Teen Chefs Club. The theme is "afterschool snacks" and the secret ingredient will be announced at the beginning of the program. Teams will compete for the Iron Chef title. Tickets will be available beginning Monday, July 23. All ages are welcome to watch the fun!
