Program Description

About This Event

You are cordially invited to participate in a focus group about your interest in and experience with our libraries. As a member of our community, we need your input in an information gathering session with your peers to discuss library services, programs and collections and to share how we can continue to support you and your family into the future.

This is a great opportunity to connect with others in the community and make a positive impact on the future of your Library. Insights shared during the focus group will be invaluable in helping the Library to build programs and services that serve your needs and enhance our community.  Attendees will receive a $25 VISA gift card after they attend and participate in the focus group.

If you want to register and do not have a Palatine Library District card, please contact staff to verify that you live in the Library District.

All focus groups will be organized and facilitated by a third-party researcher, Essentiam, to encourage open and honest dialogue.  This session is designed to hold space for individuals who identify as black, indigenous or a person of color (BIPOC).
