Test Proctoring
Test proctoring is provided free of charge to visitors with a valid District Library card. Fill out the Request Form and Library staff will review your request and contact you to schedule an appointment.
Online Resources for Students

Study Rooms
Ideal for groups of eight people or less. Rooms are open to everyone.
Palatine Library cardholders can reserve a room up to two weeks in advance for two hours at a time. See Policy 3-16 for more details.

Copiers, scanner, and printers are available at all our locations, and faxing is available at the Main Library and Rand Road Branch.
Volunteer Opportunities for Teens
Teen Advisory Board (TAB) - for grades 8th-12th
The Teen Advisory Board (TAB) meets monthly during the school year and members assist at various programs throughout the year. Applicants must be in grades 8-12 to become a member. Applications are available August 1-15.
Tween Advisory Group (TAG) - for grades 5th-7th
The Tween Advisory Group (TAG) meets monthly during the school year on Saturdays between 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. Enjoy a fun activity and give input for library services, displays, programs, and collections. Each month features a different activity. Sign-up two weeks before the date on the library events calendar or click the link below. No application required.
