Over the Rainbow is a crash-course workshop to help parents of LGBTQIA+ identified youth understand more about LGBTQIA+ issues and connect with their child. Hosted by The Bridge Youth and Family services, this workshop is led by a Queer adult and mental health professional who will be able to give answers and insights from both a lived-experience and counseling perspective. We will discuss the unique role of the parent in LGBTQIA+ children’s lives and reflect on how our own sense of identity can help us relate to others.
