Emily Lucchesi, Ph.D. presents the story of twelve U.S. Navy Nurses who were taken prisoner of war in 1941 in the Philippines by the Empire of Japan. Under the direction of Chief Nurse Laura Cobb, the nurses maintained rank and provided tireless care to thousands of inmates in a civilian concentration camp. Sign up begins 2/19. Presented: Zoom.
