Library Closed – Reopening Dates
Due to the extended Governor’s stay-at-home order, all Palatine Public Library District facilities are currently closed.
All Library facilities will be closed on Saturday, July 4 for Independence Day. There will be no curbside pickup on July 4.
Reopening dates with limited hours and services: North Hoffman Branch opens June 29; Rand Road Branch open June 30; Main Library opens July 6. Curbside Pickup service is available. Watch website and social media for updates.
Print, Copy, Scan, Fax
Printing & Copying
All our locations have printers and copiers. Cash only.
- Black and white pages = 10¢ each
- Color pages = 25¢ each
Available at the Main Library only. Retrieve print jobs at the print release stations on either floor. Jobs are saved until the end of the day.
Each Library location has copier/scanners ideal for scanning multi-page and oversized documents. Save your files to a USB drive or send it to an email address.
The Main Library has flatbed scanners in the Digital Media Center. Use these to scan photos, slides, and fragile documents. You need a Palatine Library card to use a flatbed scanner.
All scanning is free.
The Main Library and Rand Road Branch have fax machines for public use. Fax to anywhere in the United States. We do not accept receipt of faxes.
Pay with cash or by credit card. Faxes cost $1.75 for the first page, and $1.00 for each additional page.
