Library Closed – Reopening Dates

Due to the extended Governor’s stay-at-home order, all Palatine Public Library District facilities are currently closed.
 

All Library facilities will be closed on Saturday, July 4 for Independence Day. There will be no curbside pickup on July 4.

Reopening dates with limited hours and services: North Hoffman Branch opens June 29; Rand Road Branch open June 30; Main Library opens July 6. Curbside Pickup service is available. Watch website and social media for updates.

Rokus

Borrow a Roku to stream movies and TV from Netflix, Vudu, and more. 

A Roku is a device that connects to your HDTV. It streams television, movies, and music from the internet to your TV. Rokus from the Library include access to Netflix and a growing collection of movies on Vudu.

To use a Roku you need:

  • an HDTV with an available HDMI port
  • high-speed WiFi
  • an electrical outlet

Rokus check out for two weeks. You can place holds on Rokus and renew them if no one is waiting.

Rokus must be picked up and returned to the Main Library.
