Parking Garage Closed Starting Monday, September 15

The underground parking garage will be closed starting Monday, September 15 through the week. The recently poured concrete had to cure for 30 days and now needs to be sealed with a protective coating. Please use the east and west parking lots of the Main Library.

About This Event

Palatine Public Library District Board of Trustees has voted to place a referendum on the ballot on April 2, 2019. The referendum asks voters to approve a limiting rate increase on the Library’s property tax levy of 0.075. For a median value home in our Library District, the estimated increase in annual taxes is $52.

At these forums, library staff present more information about the referendum, how the money will be spent, and the impact on property taxes. Learn about the future of the Library if the referendum passes or fails.
