The Workshop at Palatine Library invites local artists, inventors, and creators to apply for our Maker-in-Residence program!
This three-month paid residency gives makers the opportunity to develop their own projects, connect with the public, and lead hands-on programs that celebrate creativity and lifelong learning.
In 2026, we celebrate five years of making! Throughout summer and early fall 2026, we’ll host a special skill-sharing series featuring individuals who love to create and share their work. We look forward to sharing more details about upcoming events and programs later in the year.
Applications for Maker in Residence 2026 are now closed. Chosen applicants will be notified in March. Thank you to all who submitted.
