Life can be tough; let the Library support you as you navigate through difficult situations like food insecurity, financial instability, mental health concerns, and reentering the workforce.

Referral Services

Our community-based social worker Beth Sousa, M.S.W., can meet with you at any of our Library locations to help you navigate tough situations during referral service. During your referral, Beth can connect you with local organizations that can help you handle your toughest moments. Drop in. 

Drop-in Hours: 
Main Library: Fridays, 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. 
Rand Road Branch: Mondays, 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. 
North Hoffman Branch: Wednesdays, 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.

Care Cabinet

The care cabinet is a donation-supported service that makes free personal care items available to anyone in the community, located at the north entrance of our main location.

Care Kits

Get a free care kit from our branch locations. These kits include a variety of personal care products including:

  • Shampoo
  • Conditioner
  • Soap
  • Toothbrush
  • Toothpaste
  • Hand warmers
  • Hand wipes

Kits are available at the branches.
