Volunteers need a valid Palatine Public Library District card and must commit to volunteering a minimum of 15 hours for most positions (except special programs or events).
Location: Main Library, The Workshop
Date/Time: Multiple Opportunities Available on weekday afternoon or evening
Duration: Short Term
Support the Technology Department in The Workshop assisting members with our craft projects, classes and events on the dates listed below. Training will be provided for one hour ahead of the event. Teens age 14-17 may apply for these volunteer opportunities.
Embroidery Activity: Pride Patches, Tuesday, June 14, 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.
Actividad de Cricut: Invitaciones (Cricut Activity: Invitations), Friday, July 22, 1:00 - 2:30 p.m.
Workshop Activity: Buttons and Keychaines, Monday, August 1, 3:00 - 4:30 p.m.
Gaming Galore, Saturday, August 6, 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. (5 volunteers needed)
Sewing for Beginners, Wednesday, August 10, 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.

Teen Advisory Board (TAB) - for grades 9-12
The Teen Advisory Board (TAB) meets monthly during the school year and members assist at various programs throughout the year. Applicants must be in grades 9-12 to become a member. Applications are available August 1-15.
