Sublimation Printing

What is it?

sublimation color chartThe Sawgrass SG1000 prints your design using a special ink that adheres to material with a compatible coating, typically polyester.

Because of this particular chemical reaction, the process works best when working with white 100% polyester or sublimation blanks.

The sublimation printer can help you create a variety of items including:

  • Mugs and Tumblers
  • Clothing and Fabrics made of at least 60% polyester
  • Coasters, Tags, and Keychains
  • Special treated glass and metal

As long as it's specifically a sublimation blank, it is compatible with the printer. You may bring your own material for use with the Sawgrass at no cost, with approval.

What do I need?

You should either create or buy your design that you'd like to press into your material or book an appointment to learn how to get started on the design you have in mind. If you'd like to use personal photos, make sure they are a high quality (most photos taken on phones are okay).

We do have the Cricut Mug press available, which is compatible with infusible ink transfer sheets and infusible ink markers.
