Collection Drive Application
Is your organization interested in having a collection drive at the Library? Fill out our collection drive request form.
Please note: Palatine Library District frequently receives requests to host collections for local organizations. Due to high demand, available collection months may only be available for 6 or more months in advance. Please plan accordingly.
February
Sunday, February 1 – Saturday, February 28
During the month of February, donate personal care products to the Hygiving Foundation! Donations accepted are: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, and tissues.
March
Sunday, March 1 – Tuesday, March 31
During the month of March, donate items to Hopeful Beginnings! Donations accepted are: baby wipes, baby shampoo and lotion, new or gently used clothing sizes preemie – 3T, diaper cream, pacifiers, bottles and sippy cups, Enfamil baby formula, or any size of diapers.
April
Wednesday, April 1 – Thursday, April 30
During the month of April, donate items to Clean Up Give Back Palatine. Items accepted are grocery bags, bread bags, bubble wrap, dry cleaning bags, newspaper sleeves, ice bags, plastic shipping envelopes, zip lock/food bags, plastic wrap and stretch film, pallet covering film, produce bags, and outside plastic casing of toilet paper, water bottles, and paper towels.
May
Friday, May 1 – Sunday, May 31
During the month of May the Teen Advisory Board will be making snack bags for JOURNEYS | The Road Home. Donations accepted are: individually wrapped granola and protein bars, snack crackers, fruit and applesauce cups, fruit leather, snack cookies, single serving cups or packets of peanut butter, oatmeal cups (not packets), juice boxes, alcohol-free hand sanitizer, lunch-size paper bags, and individually packaged spoons.
